Founded in 2018 by retired Army Master Sergeant Norm Hooten — the real-life "Hoot" from the film Black Hawk Down — and his friend Tim Young, the brand was created to honor military heroes and keep their stories alive. Hooten Young cigar reviews highlight premium Nicaraguan blends named after legendary military operations and equipment, each one crafted to reflect the brand's "Made to Remember" ethos. Ten percent of all profits are donated directly to veteran charities.
